Staffordshire Bull Terrier – Bladder Stone – Vets Think It’s A Tumour!

I kid you not!

Now our Staffordshire Bull Terriers have tried to eat lots of things from sticks and bits of plastic – to a whole rabbit! But I was surprised when I found this story of a Staffordshire that had a bladder stone – vets originally thought it was a huge tumour!

Unlike our dogs however this was not swallowed, but as I understand it bladder stones build up from calcium like deposits in the bladder!

It’s great to think that the Ark Animal Rescue Centre operated on the dog to save it – rather than have it destroyed. If you can assist them in their work financially – details are in the following article.
